About the Speakers

Andreas Kopf is a Transport/Energy Modeller and Analyst at the International Transport Forum (ITF) within the OECD. He joined the ITF in 2022 and his work focuses on energy technologies in the transport sector, from alternative low-carbon fuels to electrification. He holds a PhD in optical laser-based quantitative diagnostics in energy conversion systems.

Matteo Craglia leads the ITF’s work on energy technologies and the development of the ITF vehicle fleet, energy and CO2 emissions model. Matteo completed a PhD in Engineering at the University of Cambridge and worked at the International Energy Agency on topics including energy efficiency and transport.

Kopf and Craglia authored the publication New but Used: The Electric Vehicle Transition and the Global Second-hand Car Trade by the International Transport Forum.
