The goal is to achieve sustainable, responsible, and circular battery value chains by 2030, aligning with the Paris Agreement targets.

About the Speaker

Inga Petersen is a seasoned international affairs and sustainability professional with over fifteen years’ experience in natural resource management, governance and transparency. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Global Battery Alliance, a partnership focusing on sustainable battery production. She has previously held key roles at the UN Environment Programme, World Economic Forum, and Adam Smith International. Inga is a passionate environmentalist and holds a Global Leadership Fellowship from INSEAD. Her expertise and commitment make her a significant leader in global sustainability efforts.

The Asian Development Bank launched the E-Mobility Support and Investment Platform for Asia and the Pacific, with the support by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and other partners, for bringing together practitioners and to support the scale-up of e-mobility in the region. The platform aims to become a centre of knowledge for supporting a just transition towards net-zero pathways.
