About this Panel Discussion:

A just transition in e-mobility is essential to ensure that the shift to sustainable transportation benefits all, without leaving workers or communities behind. It promotes equitable job creation, social inclusion, and economic opportunities while addressing environmental concerns and gender disparities. By prioritizing fairness, we can achieve a balanced transition that supports both economic growth and social justice in the green economy.

This community meeting explores the evolving landscape of e-mobility and its impact on the labor market through the lens of just transition. It discusses the macroeconomic opportunities, barriers, and challenges facing the e-mobility sector as it develops, while emphasizing the need for equitable workforce solutions. Our panel delves into the expanding definition of just transition, recognizing its growing importance in gender inclusivity.
